Free Barefoot primary computing workshops are taking place at a school near you! Designed to equip primary school teachers with the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to deliver the new computing curriculum, the workshops are run by volunteers trained by our delivery partner.
What will happen at a Barefoot Primary Computing workshop?
The workshop will be run by a Barefoot expert volunteer who will guide you through using the Barefoot resources and how they can be used to teach your pupils computer science.
Where can I find a Barefoot primary computing workshop?
Barefoot workshops are happening throughout the country – you can see our list of forthcoming workshops here or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out what is going on in your region. A specially trained Barefoot expert volunteer will come to your school, show you how to use the Barefoot resources and help to equip you to teach your pupils the computer science elements of the new computing curriculum.
What happens after the workshop?
During the workshop you will be invited to join your local Barefoot Community in order to share your experiences of using the Barefoot resources with other primary school teachers in your area, get support and share ideas. You will also have access to further Barefoot resources as they are released.
